Heavy Duty Prop Shaft Bolt

High tensile, top quality bolt with correct length shank to suit this application. A must for the most demanding power trains when used with the all metal stiff nut. Fits both ends.

4.2 Gearbox Lid

Whilst old gearbox lids are increasingly hard to find Denis Welch Motorsport offers a newly produced Lid for the Jaguar E-type 4.2 synchro gearbox.

This Lid is a faithful reproduction of the original with drawings produced by our CAD team to make it stronger around the Gear Stick mounting. Made from our own patterns to exacting standards. CNC machined in house these high quality parts are cast in Aluminium LM25 and heat treated.

Made exclusively by us and are NOT available anywhere else.

Selector Forks

A reproduction of the original by ourselves, cast using our own pattern equipment.

Fits 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th for all Jaguar 4 synchro gearboxes.

Selector Shafts

A reproduction of the originals by ourselves, machined to our CAD drawings. Fits all Jaguar 4 synchro gearboxes.

Gear Knobs

Aluminium traditional style with standard 5/16" thread or 3/8" to suit our stronger gearstick or a more ergonomic spherical design, kinder on the hand, also with the larger thread.

Speedo drive housing

Reproduction of this hard to find original part.

Standard gearbox, 4 syncro 4.2 E type

Standard reconditioned 4 synchro, 4.2 E type gearboxes now from stock to compliment our current competition units.

Supplied without bellhousing with original standard or close ratio helical gear sets. Fully reconditioned with all new bearings and layshaft etc.

Complete Straight Cut Gearbox

New straight cut gears (JGBS301), mainshaft and bearings etc. assembled into a combination of new and used cases. This outright sale gearbox is a must have for any serious racer. Supplied assembled with our without bellhousing and clutch fork etc. The competition version uses the higher grade gears (JGBS301C) and a brand new lid case.

All suitable for any 4.2 all synchro SWB application.

Supplied with mainshaft speedo drive fitted, however external fitting blanked.
