The Denis Welch Motorsport built and prepared E-Type of Julian Thomas triumphed in the 2016 Jaguar Classic Challenge, winning 4 out of the 5 rounds.
"Many Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) readers may be unaware of the busy Jaguar racing scene in Europe. or that the factory is involved in promoting the brand's sporting and historic pedigree. One of their principal initiatives has been the Jaguar Classic Challenge race series. During 2016 the series visited 5 circuits in Europe, attracting C, D and E-Types as well as sedans. There are various classes in the field but the series is domainated by E-Type's."
