The work on Ted's car was undertaken at Higland Restorations in New York who have over 30 years of Austin Healey experience. Following a weeping head gasket the decision was made to inspect the engine and take the opportunity to rebuild and upgrade it. A Denis Welch Motorsport Aluminium head to fast road specification was used along with our competition valves and uprated camshaft. Ted is very pleased witht he results and really appreciates the additional power and smoothness that the engine offers.
