The Le Mans Classic race is made up of multiple races which will divide cars in to six grids based on the particular period that the car is from. Nils Nyblaeus will be racing Austin Healey 100M NHS 595, with co-driver Jeremy Welch, on grid 2, featuring cars from 1949 to 1956.
Grid 3 will feature cars from 1957 to 1961, with 2 Austin Healey 3000's supported by Denis Welch Motorsport. Nils Nyblaeus will be racing with Jeremy Welch for the second time over the weekend, this time in YOP 999. Karsten Le Blanc and Christiaen van Lanschot will be teaming up to drive their racing green Healey DD 300.
Grid 4 will feature 1 of 2 Jaguar E-types supported by Denis Welch Motorsport. Jean-Marc Rivet-Fusil and Claude Le Jean will be facing classic cars from 1962 to 1965 in their E-type, which has just came back from finishing the Tour Auto.
The Jaguar Classic Challenge race series will continue as a support race at Le Mans, with the Denis Welch Motorsport team supporting Jaguar E Type 964 FPJ 92 of new owner Jean Christophe Berta, in a series that has seen some fantastic races so far this season.
