When fitting the kit to the 100/6 or 3000 Healey models it can be done with the engine in-situ, if the gearbox, flywheel and back plate are removed. It requires only four holes to be drilled and tapped in the back of the block. The back plate requires relieving to clear the housing or alternatively we offer an exchange steel or aluminium back plate ready machined.
Drilling jig and full instructions are supplied with the kit.
When fitting this kit to the 100/4 it will require some machining to the crankshaft and cylinder block so therefore can only be fitted during a total engine rebuild. Although full instructions are supplied it is recommended that this kit is fitted by us or a qualified engineer. (A 4.2mm Drill & M5 Tap is also required).
